NinthDecimal Named to Inc. 5000 for an Unprecedented Fourth Consecutive Year

NinthDecimal again turned heads this month by making the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the country! It’s an amazing accomplishment in its own right as only a fraction of Inc. 5000 companies have made the list four times! In fact, of the tens of thousands of companies that have applied to the Inc. 5000 over the years, only one in six have made the list 4 times. This achievement puts us in rarefied company. The elite group we’ve now joined has, over the years, included companies such as Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, Intuit, Chobani, Oracle, and Zappos.com.

With an amazing three-year growth of 322% and an overall rank of 1453 we are:

  • #6 within Advertising & Marketing companies making the list 4 years running (out of 46 total meeting this criteria)
  • #30 out of all 5000 companies to make the list 4 years running with revenue over $20M
  • The highest ranked location-based company — again!
  • Ranked the #4 Advertising & Marketing Company in San Francisco

More About Inc. and the Inc. 5000

Methodology
The 2018 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2014 and 2018. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2014. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2017. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2014 is $100,000; the minimum for 2017 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000.
