Mike’s experience in local and mobile advertising gives him the expertise to accelerate NinthDecimal’s growth as the leading provider of mobile advertising solutions based on audience intelligence and location. Mike’s career spans more than 20 years in business development, strategic alliances, marketing, product management, and sales within the telecom and Internet industry in leadership roles at PointCast, Respond.com, Pacific Bell, and MCI.
Most recently, Mike served as the Senior Vice President of business development, publisher products, and strategic partnership management at YP Holdings (formerly AT&T Interactive and AT&T Advertising Solutions), the largest local search, media, and advertising company in North America, where digital revenues grew to nearly $1 billion during his tenure. Mike led all business development initiatives including distribution, reseller, technology, content, transaction revenue, as well as partnership management. He also led the company’s Publisher Products team, which built the YP Local Ad Network that consisted of over 300 mobile and online publishers that reach over 70M unique visitors per month.
Prior to YP Holdings, Mike led national advertiser sales, business development, and partnership management for Ingenio up until its acquisition by AT&T in 2007. During this time, Mike also co-authored three approved patents for Advertising technology.
Mike received a B.A. in History and Economics from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. He resides in Orinda, California and is married with three children.
David Staas
President
David Staas brings to NinthDecimal more than 13 years of marketing and product experience in both the mobile and advertising industries. David has been a part of numerous mobile start-ups and is extremely passionate about the location-based media and advertising industry.
As President of NinthDecimal, David is responsible for the company’s go-to-market strategy and business execution, with direct responsibility for marketing, product management and engineering. David served as interim CEO of NinthDecimal for six months prior to his promotion to President, achieving record quarterly revenue growth, launching the Location Graph product, and creating a performance-based mobile business. Prior to the interim CEO role, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, leading the company’s expansion into mobile.
Before joining NinthDecimal, David was Vice President of Marketing at Ad Infuse (acquired by Velti), a leading pioneer in mobile advertising. There, David built a premium mobile network as well as a mobile ad platform deployed by some of the largest global mobile operators. Prior to Ad Infuse, David led the Global Product Marketing team at Openwave Systems, the company responsible for pioneering the mobile Internet. David was responsible for go-to-market initiatives across the full $400M annual product portfolio in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He also founded the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group, an industry consortium of mobile carriers and ISPs to combat spam.
David has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He resides in Menlo Park, California with his wife and three children.
Brian Slitt
Chief Revenue Officer
Brian brings over 15 years of experience in digital, mobile, and emerging media to the NinthDecimal team. He is responsible for NinthDecimal partner and client revenues across all its lines of businesses. Most recently, Brian was VP of Sales and Business Development at 4INFO where he was part of the executive team overseeing multiple revenue functions including leading teams responsible for sales, publisher, data, and channel partnerships.
Prior to 4INFO, Brian was Director of Sales at SkyGrid focusing on brand and agency partnerships around mobile and social real-time media opportunities across desktop, mobile, tablets, and connected television. Earlier in his career, Brian was part of the NinthDecimal family serving as Director of East Coast Sales under the company’s former JiWire brand. During this time, Brian managed the Sales and Account Management teams on the East Coast working with brands to reach the on-the-go consumer via WiFi sponsorships at venues. Before JiWire, Brian was part of the team at Third Screen Media that was acquired by AOL and formed into Platform A.
Brian started his digital media career at Yahoo! where he received numerous company wide awards as one of the top sales reps. He has a bachelor’s degree in Government from Connecticut College and resides in Ashland, Massachusetts with his wife, two boys and black lab.
Todd Rose
Chief Business Development & Strategy Officer
Todd Rose is currently Senior Vice President of Business and Corporate Development for NinthDecimal. Prior to joining NinthDecimal, Todd was Vice President of Business Development for YP (formerly AT&T Interactive), where he was responsible for all publisher, strategic content, and advertising platform partnerships. Prior to YP, Todd held leadership roles with Ingenio (acquired by AT&T), where he played an instrumental role in building the industry’s pioneer Pay Per Call ad network, and LookSmart, an early leader in Internet search and navigation. He also worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, where he advised a range of Fortune 500 technology companies on sales, marketing and operations strategy.
Todd holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Princeton University. He lives near San Francisco with his wife and two daughters.
Amy Caplan
Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
Amy has over 25 years of marketing and advertising consulting experience. As SVP of Strategic Partnerships, Amy focuses on working with brands and agencies to develop and execute effective campaign across all forms of media to deliver the best ROI possible.
Before NinthDecimal, Amy held sales leadership roles at IMG where she helped evolve their Emerging Media Division during a pivotal time when consumers were starting to become dependent on being “connected”. While there, she was also part of a team that created an airport Wi-Fi Network and Sprint’s first made-for-mobile programming network called Sprint TV.
Prior to IMG, Amy joined Captivate Network where she was instrumental in introducing their unique product to the industry and also helped define the new media category, Digital Out of Home.
Amy began her career at CBS, serving in various positions overseeing sales organizations at stations and the CBS Radio Network.
Amy has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Rochester. She is a native New Yorker residing in Boston with her husband, two daughters and dog, Gus.
Partha Roy Chowdhury
Chief Technology Officer
Partha brings more than 13 years of experience in technology and organizational leadership. As CTO, he is responsible for establishing and executing the overall direction of NinthDecimal’s R&D efforts. Together with his teams, Partha is developing architecture design and advanced location-based technologies for all of NinthDecimal’s products.
Before NinthDecimal, Partha co-founded and was CTO of Mologiq Inc., which was acquired by NinthDecimal in 2017. Prior to Mologiq, he was a co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at Zumigo Inc. Throughout his career Partha has held senior level executive positions at several leading companies including Salesforce, Syniverse and Verisign.
Partha holds numerous patents in Location fraud detection and Messaging based interactions. He graduated in Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India.
Mark Dixon

Mark is the Vice President of Product Management at NinthDecimal, where he brings over 15 years of experience in technology and organizational leadership. His teams have consistently delivered market-leading products, which have received accolades from the Mobile World Congress, the International Design Excellence Awards, Forrester, and more. He previously served as Vice President of Product Management at NearbyNow, which was acquired by NinthDecimal. Prior to NearbyNow, he was the Vice President of Product Management at SugarSync where he drove the delivery of an award-winning product that synchronizes a user’s data across all of their devices. Earlier in his career, Mark worked at Loudcloud, M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratories, A.T. Kearney, and I.B.M.
Mark holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
Sable Mi
Chief Research Officer
As a seasoned industry veteran, Sable has a deep background in advertising that spans both full service agencies and leading ad-tech/ mar-tech companies. At NinthDecimal, she leads Research and Insights Group responsible for helping clients to identify marketable moments that drive engagement and create actionable insights. By incorporating location data with other online and offline sources across devices, Sable and her team provide a holistic view of today’s mobile-first audience, which informs clients’ planning, activation, measurement and optimization decisions.
Prior to joining NinthDecimal, Sable led BrightRoll’s agency research team, where she was responsible for new research product development and testing, custom research for strategic accounts, and cross-platform measurement to demonstrate the effectiveness of digital video advertising.
Sable is a recipient of the 2013 IAB Service Excellence Award for Optimizing Ad Effectiveness, and is an active member of the ARF Cross-platform Council as well as Media Rating Council Board of Directors.
She has an MBA from Johns Hopkins University and an MA in Mass Communication from Towson University.
