Chief Executive Officer
Mike’s experience in local and mobile advertising gives him the expertise to accelerate NinthDecimal’s growth as the leading provider of mobile advertising solutions based on audience intelligence and location. Mike’s career spans more than 20 years in business development, strategic alliances, marketing, product management, and sales within the telecom and Internet industry in leadership roles at PointCast, Respond.com, Pacific Bell, and MCI.
Most recently, Mike served as the Senior Vice President of business development, publisher products, and strategic partnership management at YP Holdings (formerly AT&T Interactive and AT&T Advertising Solutions), the largest local search, media, and advertising company in North America, where digital revenues grew to nearly $1 billion during his tenure. Mike led all business development initiatives including distribution, reseller, technology, content, transaction revenue, as well as partnership management. He also led the company’s Publisher Products team, which built the YP Local Ad Network that consisted of over 300 mobile and online publishers that reach over 70M unique visitors per month.
Prior to YP Holdings, Mike led national advertiser sales, business development, and partnership management for Ingenio up until its acquisition by AT&T in 2007. During this time, Mike also co-authored three approved patents for Advertising technology.
Mike received a B.A. in History and Economics from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. He resides in Orinda, California and is married with three children.
David Staas brings to NinthDecimal more than 13 years of marketing and product experience in both the mobile and advertising industries. David has been a part of numerous mobile start-ups and is extremely passionate about the location-based media and advertising industry.
As President of NinthDecimal, David is responsible for the company’s go-to-market strategy and business execution, with direct responsibility for marketing, product management and engineering. David served as interim CEO of NinthDecimal for six months prior to his promotion to President, achieving record quarterly revenue growth, launching the Location Graph product, and creating a performance-based mobile business. Prior to the interim CEO role, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, leading the company’s expansion into mobile.
Before joining NinthDecimal, David was Vice President of Marketing at Ad Infuse (acquired by Velti), a leading pioneer in mobile advertising. There, David built a premium mobile network as well as a mobile ad platform deployed by some of the largest global mobile operators. Prior to Ad Infuse, David led the Global Product Marketing team at Openwave Systems, the company responsible for pioneering the mobile Internet. David was responsible for go-to-market initiatives across the full $400M annual product portfolio in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. He also founded the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group, an industry consortium of mobile carriers and ISPs to combat spam.
David has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He resides in Menlo Park, Ca with his wife and three children.
Chief Revenue Officer
Greg brings more than 16 years of digital media and advertising experience and joined NinthDecimal from Datalogix, a leading data management and measurement company, where he served as GM and VP of Strategic Client Partnerships. Previously, he spent over six years at Yahoo! in several executive sales management positions. As Executive Sales Director of Emerging Solutions Sales, he led the team responsible for successfully spearheading some of Yahoo’s initial advertising sales efforts in both the mobile and video space. He also served as Yahoo’s Head of Northwest Advertising Division where he oversaw all revenue and advertising relationships. Greg has also held leadership roles at Intuit, Lycos, ABC Interactive, and as a Pilot in the US Navy.
Greg has a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from the University of Arizona. He resides in Los Altos, CA with his wife and two children.
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff brings over 20 years of experience as a financial executive and leader at digital media, consumer internet, e-commerce and SaaS companies to the NinthDecimal team. At NinthDecimal, he is responsible for finance, accounting and human resources.
Most recently, Jeff served as CFO at inPowered, where he led the sale of the company’s NetShelter ad network to Ziff Davis. At inPowered Jeff oversaw the finance, accounting, people and culture, legal and administration functions. Prior to inPowered, Jeff was CFO at Bloomspot, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s sale to J.P. Morgan Chase. Jeff previously served as SVP, Finance and Administration at QuinStreet, where he built the finance and administrative infrastructure that scaled the company from $0 to $200 million in revenue and CFO at hi5, a leading social network with over 60 million monthly active users.
Jeff has a bachelor’s degree in finance from California Polytechnic State University and resides in Danville, California with his wife and two kids.
Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
At NinthDecimal, Amy focuses on strategizing with brands and agencies to develop the most effective mobile ad solutions to meet their marketing goals and deliver the best ROI.
Amy has over 25 years of experience in creating similar collaborative relationships with clients. She began her career at CBS, serving in various positions overseeing sales organizations at stations and the CBS Radio Network. In 1998, she joined her first Internet start-up called HomePortfolio, which was an early player in the online aggregation of the home design industry. From there she joined Captivate Network where she was instrumental in introducing their unique product to the industry while also defining the new category of DOOH. Amy joined IMG in 2006 to evolve their Emerging Media Division during a pivotal time when consumers were starting to become dependent on being “connected”. While there, she was part of a team that created an airport Wi-Fi Network and Sprint’s first made-for-mobile programming network called Sprint TV.
Amy has a BA in Psychology from the University of Rochester. A native New Yorker residing in Boston with her husband, two daughters and dog, Gus.
Senior Vice President, Product Management
Mark is the Vice President of Product Management at NinthDecimal, where he brings over 15 years of experience in technology and organizational leadership. His teams have consistently delivered market-leading products, which have received accolades from the Mobile World Congress, the International Design Excellence Awards, Forrester, and more. He previously served as Vice President of Product Management at NearbyNow, which was acquired by NinthDecimal. Prior to NearbyNow, he was the Vice President of Product Management at SugarSync where he drove the delivery of an award-winning product that synchronizes a user’s data across all of their devices. Earlier in his career, Mark worked at Loudcloud, M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratories, A.T. Kearney, and I.B.M.
Mark holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
Senior Vice President, Business Development
Todd Rose is currently Senior Vice President of Business and Corporate Development for NinthDecimal. Prior to joining NinthDecimal, Todd was Vice President of Business Development for YP (formerly AT&T Interactive), where he was responsible for all publisher, strategic content, and advertising platform partnerships. Prior to YP, Todd held leadership roles with Ingenio (acquired by AT&T), where he played an instrumental role in building the industry’s pioneer Pay Per Call ad network, and LookSmart, an early leader in Internet search and navigation. He also worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, where he advised a range of Fortune 500 technology companies on sales, marketing and operations strategy.
Todd holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Princeton University. He lives near San Francisco with his wife and two daughters.
Senior Vice President, Partner Revenue
Brian brings over 15 years experience in digital, mobile, and emerging media to the NinthDecimal team. At NinthDecimal, he is responsible for Partner Revenue across programmatic, data partnerships, and measurement. Most recently, Brian was VP, Sales and Business Development at 4INFO where he was part of the Executive Team overseeing multiple revenue functions including managing teams responsible for sales, publisher, data, and channel partnerships.
Prior to 4INFO, Brian was Director, Sales at SkyGrid focusing on Brand/Agency partnerships around mobile and social real-time media opportunities across PC, Smartphones, Tablets, and Connected TV’s. Brian previously was part of the NinthDecimal family as Director, East Coast Sales under the company’s former JiWire name. Brian managed the Sales and Account Management teams on the East Coast working with brands to reach the on-the-go consumer via WiFi Sponsorships at venues. Before JiWire, Brian was part of the team at Third Screen Media that was acquired by AOL and formed into Platform A. Brian got his start in digital media at Yahoo! and received numerous company wide awards as one of the top sales reps.
Brian has a bachelors degree majoring in Government from Connecticut College and resides in Ashland, MA with his wife, two boys, and black lab.
Vice President, Engineering
As VP of Engineering, Lenny provides the technical and visionary leadership to NinthDecimal R&D teams, and drives the architecture, design and implementation of all our products.
Lenny has 20 years of technology experience, focusing on fast-growing startup companies. Lenny joined NinthDecimal through the acquisition of Nearbynow, and was responsible for developing a flagship Location Graph™ product. As a VP of Engineering, Lenny led Nearbynow engineering & operations to create a cutting edge mobile platform for local product search. Prior to Nearbynow, he was the VP of Engineering at Yousendit responsible for the transformation of file sharing platform into an enterprise grade SaaS digital content delivery company. Prior to this, Lenny was at ZEDO, a leading ad serving company, where he served as Vice President of Engineering. Prior to joining Zedo, Lenny was one of the founding engineers an later lead a team at Walmart.com growing the site from $0 to $2B in sales. Earlier in his career he ran a consulting company focusing on delivering software solutions for Fortune 500 companies, including Wells Fargo, PG&E, and Charles Schwab.
Lenny holds a MS of IT degree from Odessa Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine & BS degree in Computer Science from San Francisco State University.
Vice President, Head of Agency Partnerships
Stephanie has over 20 years of sales expertise in mobile, digital and traditional media where she’s successfully created unique, cross-platform advertising solutions to solve market challenges.
Since joining NinthDecimal in 2009, she’s been laser-focused on growing the firm’s business with top-tier brands. Stephanie is responsible for building, mentoring and ensuring success of NinthDecimal’s agency partnerships team. An essential part of her role is establishing strategic relationships with market leaders on both the agency and client side to identify “gaps” in the mobile marketplace.
Stephanie began her career in 1991 at The SoftAd Group, a platform for interactive marketing programs leveraging graphics, engagement and interaction – at the forefront of the Internet. Using her market expertise, she created new media concepts for top tier brands including, AMEX, IBM, BMW & Cadillac. From SoftAd, Stephanie went on to direct strategies for leading publications such as Dr. Dobb’s Journal, Windows Magazine, VARBusiness Magazine. In this capacity, she worked with major technology brands to build brand awareness and grow market share during an intensely competitive time. In 2006, Stephanie joined CNET where she helped Fortune 500 companies with their international digital media strategies across CNET global properties. With CBS’s acquisition of CNET, Stephanie moved on to join AdGent007 as the Sales Director responsible for generating awareness, demand & revenue for its network of U.S. IP addresses on global news sites – a new audience concept in digital media at that time.
Stephanie has a BA in Communications with a Minor in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University. She resides in Pennsylvania with her children and dogs.
Vice President, Marketing
Lindsey DiGiorgio is VP of Marketing for NinthDecimal and has a passion for product marketing and data. Previously, DiGiorgio worked at Neustar, directing all media and advertising marketing initiatives, and AudienceScience, managing field marketing. She has also held sales roles in digital media at Adknowledge and Comcast. DiGiorgio holds an MBA in Marketing and Brand Management from Lund University in Sweden and B.S. degrees in Natural Resources and Business from the University of Vermont.
Vice President, Head of Research & Analytics
As VP of Research and Analytics at NinthDecimal, Sable is responsible for helping clients connect with their real-world audience, identify marketable moments that drive engagement and create actionable insights. By incorporating location data with other online and offline data across devices, Sable and her team provide a more holistic view of today’s mobile-first audience, which informs clients’ planning, activation, measurement and optimization decisions. She also serves as an advocate for third party measurement and cross-platform ad effectiveness, and represents NinthDecimal at various organizations which establish and reinforce industry standards.
Prior to joining NinthDecimal, Sable led BrightRoll’s agency research team, where she was responsible for new research product development and testing, custom research for strategic accounts, and cross-platform measurement to demonstrate the effectiveness of digital video advertising.
As a seasoned industry veteran, Sable has a deep background in advertising that spans both full service agencies and leading ad tech companies. She is a recipient of the 2013 IAB Service Excellence Award for Optimizing Ad Effectiveness, and currently serves on the Advertising Research Foundation board of curators and Media Rating Council board of directors. Sable has an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and a M.A. in Mass Communication from Towson University
